Dispatch from Dreams

Odilius Vlak, the Out-There Oracle, has prophesied an extremophile minds gathering on Planet Earth, to which will be summoned the Serpent from the Great Tree, Ravens of the Evermore, Insights of the Inner Eye, and Doorkeepers of the Underworld, along with other delegates of the Collective Consciousness for a congress combining all seventeen corners of the Cosmos.
The gathering will convene in an unassuming locale on Edison Street near to Grogaman, the Lion who runs in the Desert of Colors. The summoner of this vision, Eddaviel, will return to oversee a new creation and, together with his creative accomplice, Extrémily, emissary of the Seas of Subconscious, mastermind a magical initiation in the arts. The duo seek to unearth the portal to the human world of dreams and nightmares by divining the secrets of the codex through images, expressions, and words with the collaborative insight of artists and visionaries who have, themselves, previously dreamt the way.
In a trance, Odilius proclaims his prognostication:
I dream first of the Soul, ALMA, a psychedelic awakening pulsing in light and sound..
This vision is set both in a time past and in a time to come, a historical rendering of an oncoming event. It pierces, and will pierce the outer senses and while penetrating the inner eye and throwing wide the gates of perception. This dream is a prologue and epilogue for my vision, into which I now awaken:
On Planet Earth in sea-less, empty flatlands, I see droves of young minds arriving to meet and embark on an ultimate experiment of artistic enterprise. Ready to greet them are six heralds of a far-out faculty who will invoke with these youth a vision of phantasms, illusion, fantasy and mirage.
Upright before a Great Wall of Whiteness, Eddaviel snaps open his third eye and projects a vision of this portal telepathically, planting images which will stream from the brushes of the ready youths’ hands.
New Genres instructor, Iga Puchalska guides their inner eyes through a spiraled centrifuge of subconsciousness, imparting knowledge of the 4th dimension through the art of animation, strung over the structure of creations called forth from the dark depths by Extrémily, while Jenny Mathews, Dustin Ekhardt, and Zack Stephens chart the journey into the vast and sand-filled psyche search of the House of Timelessness.
I see a dream blossom forth from this portal– saturated in color and light, bleeding into the airwaves, overtaking the atmosphere. The youth will complete the vision, creating a doorway and its landmark which will signify and explain this conference for generations forth.
The seer falls silent.
If you seek to enter, the only way is through a dream.
